NOTICE OF ELECTION
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE
PROPOSED CITY OF MANCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2023

AN ELECTION WILL BE HELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING candidates to the following offices:

six (6) city council members
one (1) city Mayor

A QUESTION AS TO WHETHER TO ADOPT the proposed city of MANCHESTER charter will be on the ballot on November 7, 2023. if the charter is adopted, the city officials will take office. 

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following location:

Manchester Township Precinct 1 – Manchester Township Hall, 275 S Macomb Street, Manchester, MI 48158

Full text of the ballot proposal may be obtained at the Manchester Township Clerk’s office located at 275 S. Macomb Street, Manchester, MI 48158. Sample ballots can also be found at www.mi.gov/vote. 

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the local clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.

To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
