Holiday music at upcoming winter band concerts

Looking for some seasonal music to get you in the Christmas spirit? Everyone is invited to the two upcoming school winter concerts. Riverside Intermediate School’s fifth- and sixth-grade bands will be holding their winter concert Thursday, December 14, at 7 pm in the High School auditorium. The Manchester High School winter concert will be Tuesday, December 19, at 7 pm in the High School auditorium. This concert will feature the 7th/8th grade band, and the high school concert band, jazz band, and choir. There is no admission fee.

Alumni are encouraged to join the bands on stage for specific songs. If you are an alum and would like to participate in this annual tradition of playing “Sleigh Ride” (Concert Band) and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (Jazz Band), please let Mr. Throneberry know and he will get music for you. He can also do his best to provide an instrument if necessary.
