Starting in the Winter/Spring 2024 term, the Adult Learners Institute (ALI) will have a new fee structure. All registration fees are being eliminated. The fee structure for the classes has been minimally increased to make up for the elimination of the registration fees. You will now pay a single fee for each class, depending on the number of sessions for that class. The new fees will be set forth in the upcoming catalog for the Winter/Spring term.

We hope this new structure will make it easier and more transparent to sign up for ALI classes. For more information and to see the class schedule when it is updated, visit https://alimichigan.org/.

Based in Chelsea, Michigan, the Adult Learners Institute provides a diverse selection of quality community-based learning experiences and camaraderie for adults in central southern Michigan and beyond. ALI conducts two semesters each year, with around 20 classes offered each semester. Class offerings include science, history, the arts, culture, travel, and more. Of 350 lifelong learning organizations in the US, ALI is one of only 20 that are independent and community-based. Each year, students from around 20 communities attend our in-person classes, including the 5 Healthy Towns communities of Chelsea, Dexter, Stockbridge, Manchester, and Grass Lake.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
