Worth Repeating continues its giving ways in 2023

Worth Repeating returned more than $34,000 to the Manchester Community in 2023, bringing the total of our cash grants to $94,654 since we began operations in March of 2020. The store also gave away over $500 in merchandise for many deserving causes, like the Lions Club Christmas Shopping Day for kids and gift certificates for Women’s Day at the Fair during 2023.

The following list includes the groups that received help from Worth Repeating in 2023. Beta Theta Pi Masters Sorority, Manchester Community Resource Center, Downtown Development, Manchester Music Boosters, Manchester Community Scholarship Fund, Manchester Community Schools, Manchester Coop Preschool, Manchester District Library, Manchester Lions Club, Manchester Community Fair, Manchester Area Historical Society, Manchester Area Youth Sports, Robotics Team, Manchester Area Senior Citizen Council, and the Manchester Fire Department.

The revenue from Worth Repeating helped fund Christmas lighting in downtown, college scholarships for high school graduates, a new roof for the Blacksmith shop, Gazebo Concerts, school trips, the canoe race, and many more efforts that help the entire community.

None of this would have been possible without the generous contributions of our volunteers who share their time and talents, our generous donors who have helped supply our store with such interesting merchandise, and the shoppers who support our store.

The store is located at 110 E Main St. We are open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am to 2 pm and on Thursdays from 2 to 6pm. We accept donations of sellable merchandise during open store hours. If you are purging your home as we begin the New Year, consider donating your like-new items to Worth Repeating. It takes a community to make Worth Repeating a success.

Worth Repeating also gratefully accepts those unexpected Christmas presents that one really cannot use. We can find them a new and happy home.
