The Manchester varsity track team says a huge “thank you” to the Manchester community!
Saturday’s can and bottle drive went pretty smoothly, according to head coach Michael Coltre, noting that, “Everyone was working together and doing their job so it was great to see! It’s not an easy job and there was no complaining so it actually turned into a good team-building/bonding event as well as a fundraiser!”
By the end of the day, the team ended up bringing in over 22,000 cans and bottles!
“We had returned about 2,800 last week when we sorted some early ones,” Coltre added. “We really appreciate how many people came to drop off and donate them.”
