After 10 years in alternate locations, including Carr Park, 327 W Main, and in front of the Manchester Market at 455 W Main, the Manchester Farmers Market is returning to its downtown location on Adrian Street this Thursday!

The Farmers Market will run every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm through October 17. This first market will feature Michael Snyder-Barker singing from 4pm to 6pm and there will be free take-home herb-pot kits, including soil, pot, and choice of seed. Kids can look for a hidden rooster as part of the weekly treasure hunt. Scheduled vendors for this week plan to bring produce, eggs, coffee, peanut butter, baked goods, cut flowers, live plants, resin art, bath products, sewn gifts, and a compost program.

The following week: On Thursday, May 23, there will be a brief goodbye party for former market manager, Laura Wohlgemuth. Stop by the market booth from 3pm to 4pm to tell her how much her contributions as a stellar event planner have meant to the community. Additionally, Deb Heskett will be teaching a short class on the basics of starting canning, especially looking at equipment and taking questions from 5pm to 6pm.

The Manchester Farmers Market is still accepting applications from vendors for the 2024 summer. If you are interested in selling produce, eggs, baked goods, crafts, etc., or have any questions, contact the market manager at farmersmarket48158@gmail.com.
