On Monday, May 20, Manchester District Library (MDL) will host Olivia Onago, owner of Liv’s Native Nursery, for a native plant program at 6pm in the upstairs lounge. Onago will explain what native plants are, how native plants are beneficial for our world, and what specific plants are native to the local area. Topics will include the relationship between native plants and pollinators, invasive plant awareness, the role of native plants in our ecosystem, and much more. There will also be an opportunity to purchase native plants before and after the event, courtesy of Liv’s Native Nursery. All ages are welcome.
