Letter to the Editor: Update on the new mountain bike trails

I have been getting large sections clear and ready for access, but I still need lots of help with cleaning grass. I’m using a grass/weed trimmer and getting it as close to bare dirt as I can. See photo:

The current sections that still have grass just need some effort. I really need to move to a new section to keep the trail on schedule for the end of the month. So I am asking for anyone who has a grass/weed trimmer to come and help. They can do it whenever they want to. Just follow the flags and the already mowed sections.

Also — I am seeing prints and tire tracks. This is 100% cool and by all means people can start to access, but motorcyclists and such are NOT allowed on the trail.

This tire track is from a motorcycle and not a mountain bike. We all need to spread the word that these vehicles are not allowed.
