Manchester Junior/Senior High School’s Students of the Month for April have been selected. Students are selected for Student of the Month awards for promoting a good way of life; for working and getting along with people; for working up to their capacity; for inspiring respect for adults, peer groups, and people in authority; for promoting good citizenship; for promoting self-control, ambition, responsibility, and self-reliance; for having desirable leadership; for promoting friendship and being personable; and for aiding and encouraging the development of others with whom they are associated.

The Manchester Jr./Sr. April students of the month are 7th Grade: Garrett Casey; 8th Grade: Jacob Caplon; 9th Grade: Caroline Mason; 10th Grade: Chase Conklin; 11th Grade: Nathan Meyer; and 12th Grade: Lauren Blaine.

Manchester Junior/Senior High School’s Senior Student of the Month for April 2024, Lauren Blaine.

Lauren Blaine is the April 2024 Senior Student of the Month. Lauren has participated in DECA (4 years), Student Council (3 years), and National Honor Society (2 years). She also ran track in her Freshman and Junior years. Lauren plans to attend Washtenaw Community College to study nursing. She received the Presidential Honor Scholarship to financially support her education. Lauren has loved being involved in the Manchester community through volunteer work, the fair queen competition, and through friends and family. Lauren said, “I am so proud to live in Manchester and uplift others in my community.”
