Memorial Day Ceremony planned

Taps in Oak Grove Cemetery during a previous year’s Memorial Day Ceremony.

Although there will not be a parade, there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony in Manchester this year. The ceremony will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery on Monday, May 27th at 11am and will include the marching band performing service songs and the Navy Hymn, a wreath laying ceremony, and a reading and honoring  of military veterans who have passed in the last year. Manchester High School seniors Oliver Bushaw and Mason Meyer will play Taps. The community is invited to attend.
