Renew your mind and body: additional yoga classes coming to Millie’s Coffeehouse

When the noise of everyday life can sometimes feel overwhelming, Millie’s Coffeehouse is growing its yoga offerings to provide a sanctuary for relaxation and well-being. The yoga teachers with Exhale Yoga and Sage Dog Yoga have teamed up to increase the opportunities for the community to enjoy the balance, peace, and rejuvenation yoga brings to the community.

Founded by longtime yoga enthusiasts and certified instructors, Exhale Yoga and Sage Dog Yoga is the culmination of their shared vision for a space where people can escape the chaos of the outside world and reconnect with their inner selves.

Starting on Monday, May 20, 2024, Sage Dog Yoga will offer Gentle Yoga at 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (there will be no class on Monday, May 27, in recognition of Memorial Day). Gentle Yoga offers gentle, slow, accessible poses that are suitable for all levels of practice. Ample modifications are offered to accommodate a student’s unique needs. The class is designed to create a sense of calm, grounding, and peace in the body through thoughtful movement.

Exhale Yoga will continue to offer Tuesday evening yoga at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 9am, and will now add Yoga Sculpt on Tuesdays at 9am and Realign Yoga on Wednesdays at 10am.

Millie’s Coffeehouse Yoga Schedule: Mondays: 6pm; Tuesdays: 9am and 6:30pm; Wednesdays: 10am and 6pm; Thursdays: 6pm; and Saturdays: 9am.

What sets Millie’s Yoga Studio apart is its commitment to fostering a sense of community. All of the teachers with Exhale Yoga and Sage Dog Yoga believe that yoga is not just an individual practice but a collective experience that can bring people together. The studio’s goal is to encourage connection and camaraderie among those who join them in practice.
