Letter to the Editor: New flower baskets downtown!

Our town has new flower baskets for everyone’s enjoyment. This started with me taking trips through small communities and noticing how beautiful and inviting the baskets were. I asked the DDA and City Council to partner and share the costs. It was approved by both committees. New brackets were ordered for the light poles, and flower baskets were sold to us at cost from McLennans.

I would like to thank McLennans, and Brent from the DPW for installing and his promise to keep them watered through the summer.
