MHS senior recognized in multiple ways

Manchester Jr/Sr High School graduating senior Hunter Anderson received the Top Ten Academic Students Award from Manchester High School as well as the Cascades Conference Scholar-Athlete Award. The Cascades Conference gives this award to senior athletes who meet the following requirements: a) 3.4 GPA, b) participating in two sports for three years at a Cascades Conference school, c) earning two varsity letters their senior year, and d) having no infractions of the individual school athletic code of conduct. On top of his academic and athletic success, he has been active in the school’s music program and was selected as this year’s recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.
He will be attending Cleary University in the fall on a scholarship for Cross Country and Track & Field to study Digital Marketing.
