SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

May 14, 2024, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall 

Meeting called to order at 8:05pm 

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Huehl, Schaible, absent — none. 10 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer, and zoning administrator’s reports. 

Items approved:

1. Minutes for April 9, 2024
2. Treasurer’s report
3. To allow Bristle to contact the township attorney to review the township road millage renewal wording.
4. To approve the Washtenaw County Road Commission’s 2024 Agreement for improvements to be made upon the local roads in Freedom Township, application of gravel, drainage projects, tree cutting, and to use the matching funds.
5. To accept contact the township attorney regarding the New Leaf Native Nursery conditional use permit violations. A letter will be sent regarding the violations.
6. Warrants

Meeting adjourned at 10:00p.m.
