Bring your drawings to life in Cartooning 101 at the Manchester District Library (MDL) on Thursdays at 4pm through the end of June. Learn how to make your doodles come alive in our introductory cartooning class! We’ll teach you how comics work as well as some tricks to make your characters look like they’re moving.

This workshop is suitable for children as young as 9, but there will be more complicated lessons for teens and adults. Contact MDL at request@manchesterlibrary.info or (734) 428-8045 if younger ages are interested.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the MDL. Questions? Call (734) 428-8045. MDL is located at 912 City Rd. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm; Friday, 10am–6pm; and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
