from Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation

Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation will be holding a hike to view birds from field to river in Sharon Mills County Park on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 8am to 10am. With summer blooms all around it’s a perfect time to take a stroll and enjoy the local birds. Buntings, meadowlarks, and more await as we walk from field to river’s edge. Space is limited to 15 birders. Bring your own binoculars. Program led by Kelsey Dehring.

Pre-registration is required. Register online at parksonline.ewashtenaw.org, click on “nature hikes”, scroll down, and click on “Summer Adult Nature Hikes – 841009”. The Birds of Summer Hike is near the top of the list.

Sharon Mills County Park is located at 35701 Sharon Hollow Rd. Park in the north lot. Email dehringk@washtenaw.org with any questions.
