Jeanne Louise Marrison (January 28, 1934 – June 22, 2024)

Jeanne Louise Marrison, age 90, of Tecumseh, Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 22, 2024, at The Fieldstone at Tecumseh Place in Tecumseh, Mich. She was born on January 28, 1934, in Ludington, Mich., a daughter of the late Oliver Oscar and Agnes Hazel (Petersen) Olson. On August 1, 1953, in Ludington, Mich., she married Roger Nels Marrison and they shared 53 years together before his passing in 2006.

Jeanne worked for Double A Products in Manchester for over 20 years as a secretary. She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ in Manchester, Mich., as well as a member of the Order of Eastern Star Saline #311 and the Manchester American Legion Auxiliary. Jeanne was a big lover of music. She played the piano, sang, and was “Mom” of the Manchester Varsity Choir. She enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling, especially with her husband.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Timothy (Amy) Marrison of Tipton, Mich; son-in-law, Steven Webster of Pinckney, Mich.; five grandchildren, Katherine (Joey) Book of Tipton, Mich., Leslie (Andy) Lamoreaux of Tecumseh, Mich., Scott Webster of Milan, Mich., Cory Marrison of Tipton, Mich., and Megan (Matt) Waskiewicz of Adrian, Mich.; 12 great-grandchildren, Eryn, Walter, Ebey, Kameron, Alex, Justin, Emma, Thomas, Kobe, Kaylee, Lexi, and Katelin. Along with her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Leah Webster; brother, Roger Olson; great-granddaughter, Harper Waskiewicz; and her beloved Yorkie, Brodie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Ludington, Mich. She will be inurned at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
