St. James United Church of Christ is holding its annual Ice Cream Social, Bazaar, and Quilt Raffle Tuesday, July 2, starting at 5pm with food service until 8pm. They are located at 11005 W Michigan Ave, just west of Bridgewater Township. There will be homemade pretzel-bun sandwiches, hot chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon, German and American potato salad, ice cream and cake, iced tea, bottled water, pop, and coffee. This rain-or-shine event features a large tent on the lawn of the church for protection from the weather, ample parking, a bazaar, a quilt raffle, and a fish pond for kids, and is handicapped accessible.

This year’s quilt raffle is for a twin-sized quilt (see photo). Tickets cost $1 each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased ahead of time if desired from a St. James Church member.

Come join friends, neighbors, and community members for a delicious meal and lots of fun in a beautiful country setting!
