Tabletop Role-playing Game Workshop
from Manchester District Library
Hail and well met, traveler! We seek those who feel called by the fates to roll the dice, those who dare to adventure into places so dangerous and mystifying that they can only be conjured up through our words and imaginations. Also known as folks who want to play tabletop role-playing games!
If you’ve heard of Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know where to start, need some character-creation inspiration, or want to explore the plethora of other RPG systems that exist, join us for an all-inclusive workshop at the library on Wednesday, June 26, 4pm–6pm, in the City Council Chambers (lower level). We will go over basic rules, how to create compelling characters, what makes good improv, and how to be an inclusive player (and game master). We will also be making crafts that add +1 to game-immersion rolls. Both new and experienced players are welcome! Recommended for ages 8–18.
Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the MDL. Questions? Call (734) 428-8045. MDL is located at 912 City Rd. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm; Friday, 10am–6pm; and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
