2023 Manchester Community Fair Parade.

by Sara Swanson

The biggest Manchester parade of the year is coming up, Tuesday, August 6, at 6:30pm. The Manchester Community Fair Parade kicks off Fair Week with a couple of changes from recent years.

This year there will be monetary prizes awarded in the categories of float, golf cart, and bicycle for best decorations. Floats must be parade-theme oriented. This year’s theme is “Make it Manchester — It’s Your Fair”.

Perhaps the biggest change is that this year’s parade will run backward compared to previous years. Instead of starting on Duncan Street, the line-up will begin on Adrian Street between Territorial and Duncan, and end at the Fairgrounds.

This year’s Grand Marshals are Darlene and Duane Kuebler.
