Obituary: Brian Michael Curley

Brian Michael Curley (December 5, 1959 – July 18, 2024)

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Brian Curley, born on December 5, 1959, in Jackson, Mich., to Edward and Betty (Fink) Curley, passed away at Trinity Hospital on July 18, 2024.

Brian grew up in Manchester, Mich., and graduated from Manchester High School, class of 1978. Brian then attended Ferris State University before following in his father’s footsteps to become a surveyor. He was most recently employed with CMA.

Known for his vast knowledge and willingness to share it, Brian was always the go-to person for answers. He found joy in gardening, spending time outdoors, cooking, being a proud member of AA, and watching all sports, with a special passion for Michigan hockey.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Edward Curley. He leaves behind his loving mother, Betty Curley; sister, Jill (Doug) Esch of Saline; brother, Steven Curley of Allen Park; nephew, Ian Curley; niece, Rachel Esch (Donavan); great-nephew, Brantley Mitchell; and special friends Steve Woolf and Robert O’Riley. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
