Obituary: Ronald Theodore Raab

Ronald Theodore Raab (August 29, 1941 – July 20, 2024)

Ronald Theodore Raab, age 82, of Manchester, Mich., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with family by his side. Ronald was born on August 29, 1941, to the late Roland J. and Helga H. E. (Lueckhoff) Raab. On December 27, 1960, he married Janice K. Pugh. Ronald is survived by his wife, Janice, and five children, Sandy (Bob) Feldkamp of Manchester, Marcia (Roger) Ottoman of Chelsea, Karla (Dean) Reamsnyder of Oregon, Ohio, Douglas Raab of Grass Lake, and Steven Raab of Manchester, in addition to several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many close family friends. Ronald was an Electrical Field Service Engineer by trade. He worked at multiple companies over the years with some requiring overseas travel. He was an avid deer hunter and made two extensive trips out west hunting. He also enjoyed cane pole and ice fishing and played cribbage over the years. Ronald was also a member of Bethel United Church of Christ.

Family and friends may visit from 2pm until 7pm on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home, and again from 10am until 11am on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Bethel United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11am at the church. Rev. Dr. David Bucholtz will officiate. Burial will immediately follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery. A luncheon will also follow and will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Ronald’s memory be made to Washtenaw County 4-H or to Bethel United Church of Christ.
