Notice to Bidders

Manchester Community Schools Welding Lab Electrical Installation

In our continuous commitment to enhancing class offerings, we are adding welders to our welding lab and need to increase our electrical capabilities. We are seeking proposals from vendors who have a deep understanding of and experience with electrical solutions, and a proven track record of successful installations. Sealed proposals will be received at the Manchester Community Schools at 710 E Main Street, Manchester, MI 48158 until August 14, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST. Bids will be accepted for the entire project (materials, labor, complete installation, and any permits of electrical installation). Please itemize each portion of your bid proposal. Project Timeline 

  • Release of RFP: July 31, 2024 
  • Technical Walk-through Meeting on Location: August 7, 2024, 10:00 AM EST
  • Technical Question Deadline: August 9, 2024, 2:00 PM EST
  • Proposal Due Date and Time: August 14, 2024, 9:00 AM EST
  • Bid Opening: August 14, 2024, 9:30 AM EST 
  • Board Approval of Award: August 19, 2024
  • RFP Awarded: August 20, 2024 
  • Project Completion Date: As soon as scheduling allows

Bids are to be sealed and addressed to: Manchester Community Schools, Attn: Shannon Cajic, 710 E. Main Street, Manchester, MI 48158 and plainly marked on the outside “A Bid for Manchester Community Schools – Welding Lab Electrical Installation – BID”. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. The Manchester Community Schools reserves the right to waive informalities to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts of any and all bids.
