Special Saturday Storytime with a Cow at the library!
submitted by Quintessa Gallinat, Manchester District Library
On Saturday, August 17, the Manchester District Library will hold a very special Storytime … with a Cow! Gather in our “green pasture” for a special Saturday storytime with guest reader Stacey Neigebauer from Washtenaw County Farm Bureau Promotions and Education. Stacey’s son Dillon shows animals in fairs just like the one in Manchester, and they will bring a special friend with them for us to meet up close! This friend has four hooves, makes milk, and says “Moo!” After the story, stick around to meet the special guest or make a craft to take home. Storytime starts at 10:30am with the meet-and-greet to follow after at 11. Recommended for ages 2–6 with an adult.
Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the Manchester District Library (MDL). MDL is proud to serve the City of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources. Manchester District Library hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm, Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
