Marjeanne Melcher (May 12, 1929 – August 11, 2024)

Marjeanne Melcher, 95, passed away August 11, 2024 at her home in Manchester MI, only 4 months after losing her husband of 69 years. She was born on May 12, 1929, in Dearborn, MI to Charles and Bessie (Post) Davidson. Marjeanne married the love of her life, Arthur Melcher, on June, 18, 1955 in Allen Park, MI. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and wife.

Marjeanne was a devoted stay-at-home mother who dedicated all of her time to her 5 children. The few moments she did have to herself, she enjoyed being artistic through painting, drawing, pencil and chalk art. She also enjoyed spending time sewing.

Marjeanne will be missed by her children, Sharon (Erich) Homolka, Bridget (Thomas) Wolk, Steven (Tammy) Melcher, David (Kristine) Melcher and Ronald (Cindy) Melcher; siblings, Peggy (Carl) Glassford and her sister-in-law Arlene Davidson; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild and many more on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Davidson.
