We’d like to welcome the Manchester community to watch the 2024 Manchester Jr./Sr. High School Homecoming Parade this Friday, September 20, at 4:15pm.

The parade will start in the Riverside School parking lot, exit on to Dutch Drive, travel up Dutch Drive to the High School, through the high school loop, back to the Klager Bus Loop and up to the Klager parking lot. Anyone who would like to participate is appreciated! This year’s Homecoming is jungle-themed. Come toss candy, advertise your business, or even just decorate a float and add to the line. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Kira Flint at jkss@att.net.

Our Homecoming court this year will be riding in the parade. Our 2024 Homecoming Court nominees are Freshmen: Macie Felczak and Gavin Horky. Sophomores: Karsyn Klein and Jayden Johnson. Juniors: Olivia Woods and Sammy Stewart. Seniors: Laura Blair, Phoenix Hulswitt, Rebecca Clark, Sawyer Lutton, Savanah Flint, Gunner Carson, Memphis Conklin, and Vance Williams.

Starting off Manchester’s Homecoming week, we have a boy’s home soccer game Monday versus Leslie at 5:30pm. They have another home game versus Lenawee Christian on Thursday at 5:30pm. On Wednesday, our junior and senior girls will be competing in a powder-puff game at 7pm on the football field. Come out and support our students! Then, Thursday night from 8 to 10pm, the entire community is welcome to join us at Pandemonium at the Alumni Field. Students can enjoy a bonfire, games, and food!

The Homecoming football game will be Friday, September 20, at 7pm. We will be playing the Napoleon Pirates. The homecoming court will walk across the field at halftime and the king and queen will be crowned at that time. Everyone is welcome! GO, DUTCH!!
