SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

August 13, 2024, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 8:00pm

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Huehl, Schaible absent-none   37 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer and zoning administrator’s reports.

Items approved:

1. Minutes for August 13, 2024
2. Treasurer’s report
3. To appoint Mary Herschelman as the second Freedom township delegate for the Manchester Library Board.
4. To contact the township attorney and have him update Ordinance 7 Animal Control.
5. To forward Stoneco’s CUP amendment application and the township planner’s report to the township attorney for review.
6. To approve Katelyn Packard’s application to put 80ac. on parcel # N-14-29-300-001 in the Farmland and Open Space Preservation Program  PA 116.
7. To approve the newsletter as presented and use Spectrum Printing for printing/mailing of the fall 2024 newsletter.
8. Warrants
