NOTICE OF ELECTION

To the qualified electors of City of Manchester:

Notice is hereby given that a general election will be held on

Tuesday, November 5, 2024

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At the following location: Manchester City Hall, 912 City Rd, Manchester, MI

For the purposes of electing the following candidates to the following:

President and Vice President, United States Senator, Representative in Congress 6th District, Representative in State Legislature 47th District, Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University, County Prosecuting Attorney, County Sheriff, County Clerk and Register of Deeds, County Treasurer, County Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner, 3rd District, Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals 3rd District, Judge of Circuit Court 22nd, District, Judge of Probate Court, Judge of District Court 14A District, School Board, Board of Trustees Member Washtenaw Community College.

Please take notice that Washtenaw County will be voting on the following millage proposals:

Washtenaw County Proposal A

Renewal and restoration of the Enhanced Emergency Communications System Millage

Washtenaw County Proposal B

Renewal and restoration of the Veteran’s Relief Millage

Washtenaw County Proposal C

Establishing an Older Persons Services Millage

Washtenaw County Proposal D

Renewal and restoration of the Washtenaw County Community Mental Health and Public Safety Preservation Millage

Full text of the ballot proposals may be obtained at the City of Manchester office located at 912 City Rd, Manchester, MI 48158. Sample ballots can also be found at www.mi.gov/vote.

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the local clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.

To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HACA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternate formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
