submitted by Melissa Licavoli, Manchester Community Resource Center
Feonix Mobility Rising, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing transportation solutions, is calling on older adults and caregivers in western Washtenaw to share their experiences and insights on local transportation challenges. The organization will host a community feedback session on November 1 from 11:30am to 1pm at the Village Room in Manchester City Hall.
This initiative aims to gather valuable information from those most affected by transportation issues in the area, with the goal of improving mobility options for the community.
Understanding the real-world challenges faced by our older residents and their caregivers is crucial for developing effective transportation solutions. We’re eager to hear directly from community members about their experiences and ideas.
To ensure focused and productive discussions, participation is limited to 10 individuals. Those interested in contributing their perspectives are encouraged to register promptly. A $50 stipend for participation will be provided as will light refreshments.
Feonix Mobility Rising emphasizes that participant input will play a crucial role in shaping future transportation initiatives in western Washtenaw. The organization is committed to addressing the unique mobility needs of older adults and ensuring that community voices are heard in the decision-making process.
