NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR

ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

Notice is hereby given that the Bridgewater Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the Township Hall (10990 Clinton Rd, Manchester, MI 48158) for the purpose of receiving comments on proposed amendments to Section 5.201 (Accessory Dwelling) and Section 19.03 (Definitions) of the Zoning Ordinance No. 67 to update the definition of and applicable standards for accessory dwellings, and to add an allowance for a detached accessory dwelling in the Rural Districts and Residential Districts.

The proposed amendments may be viewed at the Township Hall by appointment through the Township Clerk’s office; please call (517) 513-9525 or email bridgewatertwpclerk@yahoo.com. Written comments on the proposed amendments may be mailed to: Bridgewater Township Planning Commission, 10990 Clinton Rd, Manchester, MI 48158.

Necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services will be provided to individuals with disabilities at the public hearing upon five days’ notice to the Township Clerk.
