Trick-or-treating 2023 was COLD!

Friday, October 25

Haunted Hallways: SRSLY Manchester will be providing some spooky, scary, family-friendly fun in the form of a school-themed haunted house experience at the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School located at 20500 Dutch Dr, on Friday, October 25, from 5 to 7pm. Admission cost and details still TBD.

Sunday, October 27

Trunk-or-Treat: Zion Lutheran Church will be holding a Trunk-or-Treat open to the community after church on Sunday, October 27, (service begins at 10:15am) in the parking lot. There will be prizes, candy, and fun! Zion Lutheran Church is located at 3050 South Fletcher Rd in Freedom Township. This event is free.

Trunk-or-Treat: River Raisin Distillery will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat for the whole community from 1 to 3pm on Sunday, October 27, on Elton Street located off of W Main St. This will be a free, fun, and safe event. Are you interested in bringing a trunk? Email jjarvis@riverraisindistillery.com.

Monday, October 28

Halloween Party & Costume Contest: The Manchester District Library is hosting a Halloween party on Monday, October 28, at 2pm with a costume contest at 3:30pm. The Library is located at 912 City Rd. Prizes sponsored by Worth Repeating include $25, $15, and $10 gift certificates to Worth Repeating. This event is organized by Manchester Homeschoolers, but all ages are welcome! This event is free.

Wednesday, October 30

Trunk-or-Treat: Community Bible Church’s AWANA program will be holding a Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 30, from 5pm to 6pm, in the church parking lot. THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY IS WELCOME! Costumes are welcome but not expected. Anyone who would like to decorate their trunk or truck bed or set up a game is welcome to participate. Just contact Diane Clark ahead of time at (616) 328-3502 (text is best). Those who want to have a car or truck set up should be at church by 4:30-ish. There will be a meal after the event in the church fellowship hall for the people who have a vehicle or game set up. This is free. Community Bible Church is located at 8400 Sharon Hollow Rd. in Manchester Township.

Thursday, October 31

City Trick-or-Treating: As in past years, trick-or-treating in the City is scheduled to take place from 5 to 7pm.

Caramel Apples, Pumpkin Bowling, and more in Wurster Park: Stop by the gazebo in Wurster Park between 5 and 7pm for a free, freshly dipped caramel apple. Kids can take a turn bowling with a pumpkin for the chance to win prizes at the Lion’s Club’s trailer. And there will be music!
