Readers ages 11–14 are invited to the Manchester District Library to read and discuss A Journey To the New World: The Diary of Remember Patience Whipple, Mayflower 1620 by Newbery Honor Author Kathryn Lasky. The T(w)een Book Club will meet on Thursdays at 4:30pm in the Teen Spot on November 7, November 14, and December 5. Participants can bring their own copy of the book, or copies are available for checkout from the library at the first meeting. During each session, the group will read a portion of the book and discuss thoughts on that specific section; there will be several chapters to read at home between meetings as well. At the last session, they will read the last chapter together and talk about  their favorite parts, favorite characters, and if they would change anything about the story.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the Manchester District Library (MDL).
