The Manchester Junior/Senior High students of the month for December were selected just before leaving for winter break. These students embody the qualities that MJSHS holds in high regard.

Seventh grader Willow Puscas is a kind person who always tries to include others. She works hard to maintain good grades and demonstrates respect and responsibility in and out of the classroom.

Eighth grader Isabella Rattray is a good role model who strives to help and be kind to her peers. As a member of the yearbook staff, Isabella took the banner photos for the Varsity basketball teams and wrote a story for the Manchester Mirror. Like Willow, Isabella works hard to maintain good grades while balancing extracurricular activities, such as robotics.

Freshman Kate Blair tries to make others smile every day. She maintains good grades, participates in sports, and treats others with kindness and respect.

Sophomore Memphis Felczak has demonstrated a lot of growth in his time at MJSHS. He works hard to maintain his grades while also striving to demonstrate respect and responsibility in the classroom. Memphis is a member of both the football and wrestling teams.

Junior Ellie Marsh demonstrates a strong desire to always do her best. “I look for ways to better myself,” Ellie said. “I have a drive for a positive future.” In addition to her grit and determination, Ellie is also a kind person, willing to help others in any way she can, and balances academics and athletics.

Senior Sarah Stommen participates in National Honor Society, Link Crew, the School Improvement Team, and dance. Sarah works hard to maintain her grades, be a role model for others, and is involved in many activities, both in school and in the community.
