SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

December 10, 2024, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 8:00pm

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Huehl, Schaible absent-none   2 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer and zoning administrator’s reports.

Items approved:

1. Minutes for November 12, 2024
2. Treasurer’s report
3. To approve the registration of the required training for all board of review members.
4. To appoint Susan Ochs for a 3 yr. term to the planning commission.
5. To appoint Dan Schaible for a 1 yr. term and Carol Huehl for a 1 yr. term (recording secretary) to the planning commission.
6. To appoint Brent Leverett to Zoning Board of appeals for 3 yr. term.
7. To appoint the Planning Commission Chair and Township Supervisor to Board of Review for 1 yr. terms.  
8. To appoint Jason Haynes, Gerald Huehl, and Dale Mieras to Board of Review for 2 yr. terms and Dale Ganzhorn as alternate.
9. To set the Freedom Twp. board meetings for the second Tuesday of the month at 8:00 p.m. at the Freedom Township Hall.
