2025 is the year to feel ALIVE!

Come meet multiple organizations and businesses that provide different opportunities for you to be in your best health for 2025 during the Manchester Community Health Fair hosted by the Manchester District Library located at 912 City Rd. There will also be a free raffle with items to help get you into your best health! All are welcome to participate.

On Saturday, January 25, from 11am to 1pm, the Village Room under the Manchester District Library will turn into a one-stop shop for all those looking to improve their health for a fresh and healthy 2025.

Dr. Nia Aguirre, ND, will kick off the Manchester Community Health Fair with a natural health class in the Council Chambers at 10am. Please pre-register if you’d like to attend Dr. Nia’s class. Directly after Dr. Nia’s class, Jazzercize will host a demo class at 11am in the Council Chambers. All are welcome to attend and/or participate. Jazzercize will be offering the first month free with EFT sign-up.

Health fair booths will be open to the public from 11am to 1pm in the Village Room.

We have many wonderful organizations right here in Manchester that will be sharing what they offer to help you get in your best health. Participants include: Adult Learners Institute, Jazzercize, TOPS, Manchester Community Garden, Manchester Wellness Coalition, SRSLY Manchester, Dr. Nia Aguirre, ND, DoTerra Essential Oils, the Lions Club, and a home care outreach specialist.

The Manchester Lions Club will be providing FREE eye screenings for ages 6 months to 99 years with their $10,000 SPOT camera. Results in 3/4 of a second. For those who cannot afford eye glasses, the Lions Club can provide funding.

Allison Perry, Outreach Specialist with Our Family Friend LLC home care, will share information on how they provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors in the area. These services tend to be centered around assisting with personal hygiene, acts of daily living, and companionship. They also collaborate with Veterans Affairs to provide qualifying veteran seniors in-home care at no cost to them.

At 12:30pm we will draw prizes during our Manchester Community Health Fair Raffle. You may enter anytime between 11am and 12:20pm. Raffle items include: an Our Family Friend sweatshirt basket with other cozy items, a Real Life book that presents all about how to eat healthily, a Better Homes and Gardens Healthy Eating cookbook, personal journey book, bag with pocket for water bottle and more, small lunch bag with matching pot holder, large kozy, and My Plate plate, $25 gift certificate to one of ALI’s classes, jazzercise “goodies” (shirts, etc.), and more.

We hope the Manchester community can come meet these many wonderful organizations that can help you reach your best health in 2025!
