Bethel UCC to hold fundraiser for member and his family
submitted by Cathy Moore, Bethel Church
A spaghetti supper and silent auction fundraiser for Toby St. Charles, who was diagnosed last fall with lymphoblastic leukemia, and his family will be held at Bethel United Church of Christ on Saturday, February 22.
Bethel normally holds a Spaghetti Supper fundraiser in February to raise funds for a worthy cause. Spaghetti and vegetarian spaghetti, tossed salad, garlic bread, and desserts will be served from 4:30 to 7pm. Gluten-free is also available. In addition, guests can take their chances at winning one or more of the items offered through a silent auction.
Toby St. Charles was diagnosed in the fall of 2024 with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He has been receiving chemotherapy, medications, and other treatments. The church would like to help Toby and his family with expenses as Toby has been off of work since treatment began and will remain off work for months.
Tickets are available through the church office, by calling 734-429-8530. Office hours are Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 1pm, and Thursday from 10am to 12pm, or you may leave a message and receive a call back. You may also email at www.bethelonthehill.org. Youth (age 13 and up) and adult tickets are $12; children ages 6 –12 are $7; 5 and under are free. Families (household of 4 or more) are $35, available through the church office. Tickets are also available at the door. Take-outs are available as well for $13 each.
Bethel Church is located at 10425 Bethel Church Rd, at the corner of Schneider and Bethel Church roads in Freedom Township. Proceeds from this event support Toby St. Charles and family.
