The Family History Guild will hold after-hours lock-in research events on the third Saturday of each month through May 2025; the next event will be held on February 15 starting at 2pm. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop if they are able. These events are open to all community members interested in genealogical research, and Manchester District Library provides no-cost, onsite access to Ancestry.com.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the Manchester District Library (MDL). MDL hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm, Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website. MDL is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the lower level Village Council Chambers. Members of the public are welcome to attend. MDL is proud to serve the City of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
