To the Editor:

We have a choice. Let’s band together for America. Fight back, be vocal. Don’t accept the coup of our great democracy. To wait it out is to be complicit. Speak up. It’s okay. No one voted for what’s happening!

I don’t fault anyone who voted for Trump. They wanted lower grocery prices. Who could have imagined that Trump would turn our government over to Elon Musk — a billionaire from South Africa who has commandeered our government computer systems and taken over our democracy?

Meanwhile, Musk communicates weekly with Putin. Is he a Russian asset? Why did Trump turn the decision-making for the U.S. over to Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin? Why has Trump violated his own agreement that he signed during his first administration with Ukraine? Doesn’t our word mean anything in defending the free world?

Please don’t take my plea as a Me v. You — take it as an “us for the U.S.” Remember, no one voted for this.

Join the resistance for our children and grandchildren.
