Last Tuesday, the brothers of Manchester Lodge #148 F&AM met with Pat Vailliencourt and members of the Manchester Area Senior Citizens Council to present a check for $3,000 to help them furnish their newly remodeled space.

Vailliencourt stated, “We are thrilled with this generous donation. As we look at completion of the Center, hopefully in April, we are finding purchasing all those last-minute necessary items (like signage, paper towel dispensers, trash cans, health department inspection costs) add up quickly.”

Masons Guy Gilbert, Kerry Thompson, and Barry Allen toured the facility. Allen stated that he knows the funds will go to good use.

When completed, a portion of what was the City of Manchester’s cold storage facility located behind City Hall, at 912 City Rd, will be a 1,200 sq/ft fully functional community gathering space with a kitchen and handicap-accessible bathroom.

Vailliencourt added, “The continued support of our community is amazing.”
