PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 3^rd, 2025, at 7:30 pm. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed conditional land use at the property located at 13051 Schleweis Road in the AG, Rural Agricultural District.

Request: Conditional Land Use Application approval in the AG, Rural Agricultural District

The proposed home occupation would involve online sales of firearms, no physical retail space on the property, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and licensing regulations.

Written Comments: All interested parties are invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed conditional use. Written comments may be submitted to the Township Clerk in person at the township offices during normal business hours or via email at mtwp_clerk@sbcglobal.net.

Public Inspection: A copy of the proposed site plan is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.

Accessibility: This notice complies with 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 through 15.275, the Michigan Open Meetings Act (OMA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Manchester Township will provide auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon reasonable notice to the Manchester Township Clerk.
