NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed variance in the AR, Rural Agricultural Zoning District, located at 17001 Mulvaney Road, 48158 (PID: P -16-30-200-009).
Location: Manchester Township Hall, 275 S. Macomb Street, Manchester, MI, 48158
Request: Allow for a front yard setback of thirty-five (35) feet, as opposed to the required sixty (60) feet set forth in Article 5, Section 5.04(e)(1), of the Manchester Township Zoning Ordinance, to accommodate the construction of a residential home, given the constraints posed by the site’s topography and the location of a private well.
Public Inspection: A copy of the proposed site plan is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.
Written Comments: All interested parties are invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed conditional use. Written comments may be submitted to the Township Clerk in person at the township offices during normal business hours or via email at mtwp_clerk@sbcglobal.net.
Accessibility: This notice complies with 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 through 15.275, the Michigan Open Meetings Act (OMA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Manchester Township will provide auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon reasonable notice to the Manchester Township Clerk.
