Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at 6:00 pm. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on a proposed variance in the LR, Low Density Residential Zoning District, located at 13150 Sharon Hollow Road, 48158 (PID: P -16-29-100-033).

Time & Location: Manchester Township Hall at 6:00 pm 275 S. Macomb Street, Manchester, MI 48158

Request: Relief from Article 3.26(A) & (B), which require all structures to have direct access to a public or private road, including ingress and egress for vehicular traffic, including fire, police, and ambulance services and vehicles.

Public Inspection: A copy of the proposed request is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.

Inquiries & Written Comments: Written comments and/or inquiries regarding the proposed variance may be submitted to the Manchester Township Clerk in person or via email at mtwp_clerk@sbcglobal.net or by phone at (734) 428-7090 ex. 110.

Accessibility: This notice complies with 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 through 15.275, the Michigan Open Meetings Act (OMA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Manchester Township will provide auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon reasonable notice to the Manchester Township Clerk.
