May Day 4-corner peaceful gathering and food drive planned

Organizers of the previous rallies at the 4-corners (intersection of Main Street and M-52) downtown are promoting another this Thursday, May 1, from 4 to 7pm. Flyers state it will be a “peaceful gathering to protect our democracy, each other, and our earth.” They have also organized a canned food drive and will be collecting non-expired canned food and dry goods, which will be donated afterward to the Community Resource Center.
