We announced in March that Bethel UCC had started a Memory Cafe. Memory Cafes are social opportunities for people with memory difficulties, accompanied by their caregivers. Every month features an activity and refreshments. It meets the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1  to 3pm at Bethel Church, 10425 Bethel Church Rd., and will run through October 22, with no meetings in November or December. Bethel Church’s next memory cafe is coming up on May 28 and will feature animals. They will have a dog, cat, chicken, and possibly a sheep and a calf.

For more information, contact the Bethel Church office at 734-429-8530 or Betty Harper of the Bethel Hands for Local Missions at 734-218-2988.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
