Isabella Lehrer started as an art teacher at Manchester in 2023. Last year, Miss Lehrer created a phenomenal art gallery. The theme: Red Carpet. Everybody showed up in their fancy clothes and the kids loved the idea of showing off their art pieces. The helpers served snacks and drinks, the kids hung out with their friends, and the parents admired their kids’ work.

This year she’s back at it again. Since last year she has been planning for the next art show and she came up with another fantastic theme: Glow. Everywhere, there will be glow-in-the-dark art, decorations, and clothes. “I picked the Glow theme because I’ve seen a lot of other teachers doing it and it’s a big hit,” said Miss Lehrer.

May 16 from 6pm to 8pm is the art show reception at the Manchester library located at 912 City Road. Attendees are encouraged to wear white and/or neon colors for the Glow theme. The kids are extremely excited for this opportunity, so come down, eat free food, and support them! The Art Show is up now and will be open for viewing during library hours through May 18 for anyone unable to attend the event.
