Friends of Watkins Lake holding 2nd meeting

The Friends of Watkins State Park group has formed and will be holding their 2nd meeting on Monday, June 30, from 6:30pm to 8pm at Hayes State Park. Hayes State Park is 10min directly south of Watkins Lake on Wamplers Lake Road. The meeting will be in the lake pavilion, accessed from the west entrance. Watkins Lake State Park, Michigan’s 103rd state park co-owned with Washtenaw County Parks, and located partially in Manchester Township, has been open to the public since 2016. Help protect, steward, and advocate for this special place.
