Consequences of More Snow Days - Correction
Last week's article regarding the consequences of more snow days should have indicated that the amendment to the State School Aid Act was strictly for the 2012-2013 school year. The legislature is considering a similar modification for this school year, but it has not enacted to date. My apologies for the error.

For the past week we had the following activity: Village of Manchester o 50 calls for service o No major incidents o Many of the calls for service were related to weather (snow, snow removal issues, etc) Lodi Twp o 28 calls for service o No major incidents

For the past week (Jan 6-12) we had the following activity: Manchester Village o 22 calls for service o 1 significant incident / vandalism to the Manchester School buses Lodi Twp o 39 calls for service o No significant incidents, but numerous motorist assists related to the weather.
