Dead Body Found on Trails Behind ChiBro Park (Updated X2)

A body was discovered  on the trails behind ChiBro park this morning around 10am.  The Washtenaw County Sheriff will be releasing more information shortly.

Update (2:43pm):

According to Washtenaw County Sheriff Director Derrick Jackson, the deceased was a 47-year-old male. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He has been identified, but his name is being withheld for 24 hours, per police procedure. All indications are that this was a suicide, no foul play is suspected.

Update 2 (10am Wed May 28th)

The deceased has been identified as Chris Stein, co-owner of the Village Tap, who died due to a self-inflicted gun-shot wound.
