The 34th annual Project RED (Rural Education Days) will be held April 23, 24, and 25, 2024, at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds. This activity is sponsored by Washtenaw County MSU Extension, Washtenaw Conservation District, Washtenaw County Farm Bureau, and the Washtenaw Farm Council, with support and partnership from many agricultural organizations, agribusinesses, and individuals, including local FFA chapters and more than 300 volunteers! The purpose of this program is to educate third graders about agriculture and natural resources.

More than 2,400 students, teachers, and chaperones from all over the county will participate in the Project RED program this year.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
