Description: Interested about creating folk art but don’t know where to begin? Margaret Shaw’s intro sessions at the library provide all of the information one needs to begin the craft, from tips on ‘making do’ with what one has to understanding how to be inspired by visual resources. Each of Margaret’s one hour sessions, on Tuesday nights will cover an area of interest and provide tips and tricks to help one begin his or her journey into creativity. 6 weeks. FREE

Description: Community forum with updates from district leadership. Are you curious about the district goals, initiatives, curriculum, technology integration and student/teacher learning? All stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to check it out.

4:30pm Emanuel’s Monthly Meal: Chicken Parmesan

Where: Emanuel Church of Christ, Fellowship Hall at 324 West Main Street, Manchester
Description: Eat-in or drive-thru. Serving begins at 4:30 p.m. Drive Through meals will be $9.00, while Eat-In meals will be $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children up to age 12.

5:30pm Manchester Voices Youth and Adult Coalition Meeting

Where: Library of Manchester High School, Dutch Drive, Manchester, MI, United States

Description: The Manchester Community School District is considering moving to a balanced calendar in fall 2016. Do you have questions? Do you want to be part of the decision? Come to this community forum and have your voice heard.

5pm St. Mary’s Taco Dinner

Where: St. Mary’s Parrish Center, 110 East Madison St., Manchester

Description: 5pm – 7pm. All you can eat. Adults $8, Seniors $7, Kids 5 – 10 $4, 4 & under eat free.

7:30pm Manchester Area Historical Society Mtg

Where: Sharon United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (on M-52 at PleasantLake Road)

Description: Refreshments are usually served following the meetings. Everyone is welcome.

Description: 3pm – 7pm. Fundraiser for Citizens Respecting our Waters, a non-profit group from Freedom Township. They will have beautiful, fresh flower arrangements and homemade baked goods for sale and ready to go, and a “Make Your Own Valentines” table.

Free Fishing Weekend – Two days twice a year, families and friends can enjoy one of Michigan’s premiere outdoor activities, Michigan Fishing, for FREE!

Description: Manchester Ladies Society is a non-profit group that supports the women and children of Manchester. Meetings always includes good munchies and good company. All women are welcome!
